Lauren accepts briefs to appear and advise in criminal defence and public law matters across metropolitan and regional courts and tribunals.
Prior to coming to the bar, Lauren was the Associate to the Honourable Justice Beale in the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria. Before her associateship, Lauren practised as a defence solicitor advocate at Victoria Legal Aid’s Melbourne and Shepparton offices, and the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women. She also volunteered at Refugee Legal for several years as a researcher.
Lauren has extensive experience representing clients with complex matters and complex needs. She has a particular interest in working with women impacted by family violence and criminalisation.
