Hester accepts briefs in criminal law and quasi-criminal matters.
She is an accomplished advocate with experience in a broad range of indictable criminal matters, including sexual offences, drug matters and violent offences.
Hester was previously an Associate at Doogue & George Defence Lawyers, where she appeared in court as a solicitor advocate daily. She has experience in summary, indictable and appellate matters in the Magistrates’ Court, Children’s Court and County Court jurisdictions.
She has appeared in contested hearings, pleas, contravention hearings and bail applications and appeals.
Before being admitted to practice, Hester was an Associate to His Honour Judge Howard of the County Court of Victoria, who sat exclusively in the criminal jurisdiction.
She is studying a Masters in Law, specialising in Criminal Law and Forensics, at Monash University.
