Jessy accepts briefs in criminal law, confiscation and proceeds of crime, migration law, and quasi-criminal including regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the Bar, Jessy practised as a solicitor advocate at the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission in Alice Springs.
Jessy also worked as a senior researcher in the criminal division in the County Court of Victoria, and as an associate to his Honour Judge Trapnell in the County Court of Victoria.
Jessy has experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Jessy speaks fluent Mandarin.
Jessy graduated with a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology major) from the University of Melbourne.
Jessy is reading with Georgina Connelly SC and her senior mentor is Chris Carr SC.
