Morgan practices in criminal law and occupational health and safety.
Whilst she appears in all jurisdictions in Victoria, Morgan has an indictable crime practice and primarily appears in trials and pleas. She drafts written cases and appears as counsel in the Court of Appeal.
Morgan regularly provides written advice for both prosecution and defence in relation to regulatory offences.
Morgan is particularly familiar with Commonwealth offences, including drug importation and trafficking, child exploitation, fraud, and terrorism. She is regularly briefed in matters involving complex Commonwealth-State sentencing exercises and has presented numerous CPDs in relation to Commonwealth sentencing provisions.
Morgan read with Jason Gullaci. She is a member of the Victoria Legal Aid Preferred Trial Counsel list and holds an Indictable Crime Certificate. She is currently the Treasurer of the Criminal Bar Association.
