Yvonne accepts briefs in criminal law and quasi-criminal matters.
Yvonne was previously employed as an Associate at Slades and Parsons Criminal Law, where she managed a broad range of indictable criminal matters, including sexual offences, drug matters and violent offences. She regularly appeared in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Children’s Court for plea hearings, bail applications, contravention hearings and appeals. She also instructed in County Court and Supreme Court trials, and had carriage of Court of Appeal matters.
Prior to working in private practice, she worked at a community legal centre in the police accountability team, and also spent time volunteering in the USA on capital cases.
Yvonne has a particular interest in working with vulnerable clients and those with complex needs.
